Why was my transaction declined?

Transactions can be declined for a number of reasons, including:

  • Incorrectly entering your card details, including card number, expiry date and CVC.
  • Holding an inactive card. Be sure to activate your card when you receive it via the humm90 app or on my humm90.
  • Temporary locking your card. You may have temporarily blocked your card. You can unblock your card in the humm90 app or on my humm90.
  • You might not have enough available credit to make the transaction. You can check your available credit balance in the humm90 app and on my humm90.
  • You may have missed your most recent minimum monthly repayment. Always make the minimum monthly repayment to ensure your account is in good order, so you can continue to use and enjoy your humm90 Platinum Mastercard.

Failure to make the required payments will result in you no longer meeting the Interest Free Criteria meaning that all new transactions from that day will be interest bearing from the date of the transaction.
